Registered business
ForestCore Utility Ltd is the official registered business name. The company was established in 2018 in London as a small analysis desk helping catalogue retailers read their own checkout numbers without drowning in dashboard noise.
A short history
In the first two years we worked almost exclusively with mid-size fashion and homeware brands that had recently moved more volume online. Clients kept asking the same question in different words: which checkout step quietly costs us the most completed orders? That question became our craft. By 2021 we had standardised an engagement shape — intake, reconciliation, visualisation, review — and by 2024 most of our week was dedicated to checkout funnel drop-off analysis for teams across Great Britain.
How we work
We stay deliberately small. An engagement is owned by a named analyst who writes the brief and presents the charts. A second analyst checks definitions and label accuracy before anything leaves the desk. We prefer plain language over jargon, and we will say when the data cannot support a claim.
Values we practise
- Definitions before decoration. Charts wait until step names match the live path.
- Honest uncertainty. Gaps, tracking breaks, and thin cohorts are labelled, not smoothed away.
- Respect for shoppers and staff. We analyse behaviour patterns; we do not invent urgency or pressure tactics for you to deploy.
People
Our London office hosts a compact team of analysts and a producer who manages access schedules and delivery dates. When an on-site kickoff helps — for example when payment and merchandising teams rarely sit together — we meet at Office 8, 28 Test Road, or at your workplace within easy reach of London.
Community
We share selected techniques through Field Notes and welcome conversations with university commerce programmes that want a guest session on reading funnel charts responsibly.
