Our method

The ForestCore Utility method for checkout funnel drop-off analysis: intake, reconciliation, visualisation, and review.

Every ForestCore Utility engagement follows the same poster-clear sequence. We keep the order fixed so your team always knows which conversation comes next.

  1. Intake

A sixty-minute call maps the intended checkout path, payment methods, and the questions already circulating in stand-ups. You leave with a short access checklist.

  2. Reconciliation

We match event names to the live path, note guest versus account forks, and flag breaks where tracking drifts from what shoppers actually see.

  3. Visualisation

Drop-off charts and step tiles are drawn with definitions on the same page. Mobile and desktop stay separate unless you explicitly ask for a combined view — and even then we label the compromise.

  4. Review

A ninety-minute call walks ranked findings. We capture decisions and open questions, then issue one revision cycle on charts and wording.

  5. Handover

You receive the PDF brief, chart pack, and a plain-language glossary of the step definitions we used so a future season can be compared fairly.

What you prepare

What we will not skip

If definitions are unstable, we pause visualisation rather than invent tidy charts. That pause is part of the method, not a delay tactic.

Commission the sequence

Start with the flagship audit

Most first-time clients begin with the Checkout Funnel Drop-off Audit. Visualisation packs and review sessions sit alongside when the story is already clear.
